About Mentaurs

Mentaurs was established in 2001 in response to the need for an effective and less tedious approach to preparing for the GRE. Founder Philip Geer is not only a published author many times over, but also an experienced educator. He has been teaching English language and literature to high school and junior college students in the United States and Asia for over 25 years.

Mentaurs aims to fill a demand for GRE preparation that deals with more than mere tips and tricks. Solid content and a sound development program are at the core of the Mentaurs philosophy, and contribute to its superior approach to being fully prepared for the GRE.
